My second influence would be the fact that she created job opportunities for women who didn’t have jobs or women who wanted to make more money aside from their first job. Mary Kay gave women all around the country chances to make money. She was also generous and knew how to motivate her workers.

At the conventions she hosted for her company she gave away prizes to her best workers. That was a motivation for the workers that didn’t win. They wanted to be on the podium at the next convention getting prizes like pink Cadillac’s and vacations to tropical places. So in turn they went out and sold more products. They wanted to have a piece of Mary Kay’s generosity.
